This is a yummy and simple side dish and can be pretty flexible on how you season them. You can add balsamic or paprika or whatever seasoning you prefer. This is my favorite way to make them.
Serves: 2
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Green Beans, chopped
- 1/3 cup Mushrooms, sliced
- 1/3 cup Onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp Green Onion, chopped
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Butter
You can replace butter with olive oil
Directions
- Melt butter in skillet over medium heat
- Add onions, mushrooms, green beans, and green onion to skillet
- Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
- Saute for 15 – 20 minutes until veggies are soft
Serve!

Ohh I would taste very good with Salmon
I have been wanting to add more vegetables and not make them the same old way. I love green beans and this looks amazing. Pinning!

These look amazing! I love green beans, especially with red onions 🙂 I would skip the mushrooms, though!

I love sauted onions, they give a nice flavor to everything. A few years ago I would have said skip the mushrooms too. I wouldn’t touch them. Then my husband made this steak with mushrooms and onions, and I actually enjoyed the mushrooms.. crazy how tastes can change.
I once made a mushroom and green bean tart and fell in love with the flavor combination! I absolutely want to try this side dish!
yum! A few of my favorites! I put onions on EVERYTHING
