This is a great easy way to have a nutritional breakfast. Or this is also an amazing post workout shake.
- 1 Cup Almond Milk
- 1 Cup of Spinach
- 1/2 banana
- 5 Strawberries
- 1 Serving favorite Protein Powder
- About 5 strawberries. Pour Almond Milk and Spinach into the blender, I like to blend these two together first to create my base.
- After this is well blended add banana and strawberries, blend again.
- Add the protein powder and blend until smooth.
- Ready to pour!
- You can adjust the amount of fruit if you feel you need a sweeter taste or add a natural sweetener.
- Add ice if you prefer a colder drink.
- Create portioned freezer bags of the fruits and veggies to easily grab in the mornings. This will also help make your drink colder without the need of ice.

I was so excited when I poured this and it fit perfectly in my Contigo Shaker Cup!
This looks like an amazing soothie, it is crazy the amount of things you can put into one, both fruit and veg! I would love to give this one a try.
I used to always wonder how to add spinach to my smoothie. Never thought of combining it with the tastiest fruits – Banana and Strawberry. Will give this a try. Thanks for the idea.

This sounds like a tasty smoothie. I haven’t had a smoothie in forever and really need to start drinking them again.
I love making smoothies. They are definitely healthy and one way I able to get the nutrients I need. This smoothie recipe looks great and I am definitely going to be trying it.
Love me a good smoothie to kick start my day!!
Hmm. I can’t find anything to cover up the flavour of greens yet except pineapple and I’m allergic to that… and I don’t like the flavour in a juice or smoothie. But in allll about that banana strawberry!!
I find that the vanilla protein powder covers the green flavor pretty well. This may depend on brand though.
I love healthy smoothies! It’s on my everyday diet! Thank you for sharing this recipe!
Nice..I could make this for the family. Someway to get them eat and drink healthy!
So good and special smoothies are also a good way to “trick” children and make them eat healthy things with good taste!
Your smoothie looks awesome and delicious. I do like eating spinach leaves on its own but I will give this a try. I can imagine that the smell is so yummy as well.
I also love spinach on its own. However, not usually a common breakfast item for me. So this is a great way for me to add the nutrients to my breakfast/post workout meal.
Your smoothie selection is the best. Kind wait to try this out. Thanks.
I do love a smoothie! it is always so filling and so healthy as well! I have not tried green smoothies before but why not!
I love drinking a smoothie every day. This green smoothie is packed with nutrients, definitely an addition to my list!
My dad is a smoothie fanatic now. He makes one right before all of his workouts.
This does look healthy! I haven’t tried combining all these ingredients though. Gosh I am too lazy to make smoothies.
So ultimately this is not only tasty but healthy too. I think it is truly worth a try…
I love this smoothie. We often make this flavor combination here at home and the whole fam loves it.
I do love smoothies but have not been a fan of the green ones I have seen about lately. I just don’t like the taste enough to want to do it regularly. I’m all about the strawberry and banana though.
I love strawberries and that I wouldn’t mind some strawberry smoothie. Unfortunately, I don’t love bananas in my smoothies. But your recipe looks great!
