I had this guest room closet that was pretty empty and not fully utilized. I wanted to keep an option for guests to be able to hang up clothes, but it isn’t really too often someone comes long enough to need the whole closet.
So, I decided the guest room closet would be a great opportunity for additional storage. I found this very basic closet system that helped me utilize half of the closet for storage. We put shelving on one half of the closet and the other half left with open hanging space. Even an option for double hanging, that bar is removable for long clothing as well. Here, I can keep extra blankets, which are easy for the guests to get to. I also, keep all of our board games and puzzles I didn’t want cluttering up our living area.
Stacked all nice and neatly and there is still plenty of room to add storage if needed. You can even keep guest towels and guest soaps if you want. Having everything your guest will need for the night.
We also had these old metal closet doors that I didn’t love. I ended up taking them off and replacing them with these bright colorful curtains. I personally love the option to add color and it was a lot cheaper to add the curtain vs getting new doors.

I can’t agree anymore than what I just read. Thanks again.
